I am an experienced guitarist who has been teaching privately for over 15 years. I am very passionate about teaching children the guitar and take great pride in seeing them progress. I am happy to teach pupils individually or in small groups, and always strive to make lessons fun as well as informative. I have had the pleasure of teaching many of my pupils for years, and am proud of my high retention rate. I also have a very high exam pass rate across three syllabuses. A number of my pupils are in bands and perform in public regularly; this is very important to me.

I teach at my house in College Fields, Marlborough but am also very willing to come to your house and teach. I have guitars that you can borrow to start with and can provide advice on what type of guitar to buy. I have performed in several bands over the years, playing a variety of gigs across the south west - please see gig page for a list of dates. ​In 2018 I completed a BA (Hons) Degree in Music Studies with Business from Wolverhampton University, achieving a First.

I am fully DBS checked, first aid trained and am insured through my membership of the Musicians Union. I live with my wife Kate and two daughters Esme and Mollie plus Freddie the spaniel.
